Globally renowned artist Kay Griffith begins her world tour before her appearance at the 2019 London Biennale, at C. Parker Gallery in Greenwich, CT on Thursday, April 25th. The exhibit, titled “A Moment in Time” will showcase Griffith’s work, which employs oils on canvas with the masterful use of palette knives. Griffith, named a “Top 60 Masters of Contemporary Arts” by Art Tour International Magazine, will appear at the gallery for the opening reception on April 25th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
“Kay Griffith is looking forward to launching her tour in Greenwich and we’re delighted to showcase her work,” said Tiffany Benincasa, C. Parker Gallery owner. “This exhibition opening coincides with the annual American Red Cross Ball where we have donated a specially commissioned painting by Griffith, encrusted with diamond dust and entitled Radiant Hope. This painting is currently on display at Greenwich jewelers Shreve, Crump & Low.”
In addition to this donation, a portion of proceeds from the “A Moment in Time” opening night will also be donated to the American Red Cross.
After C. Parker Gallery, Griffith and her artwork will head to the London Biennale. Then she will continue on the World Vision Tour 2019-2020 where she will be one of 16 prestigious artists presented at exhibitions in Monte-Carlo, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Tokyo, Florence, Miami, Venice and Santa Marta.
Owner Tiffany Benincasa and her gallery have an extensive collection of works by traditional and contemporary artists, and artwork from decorative to investment grade. In 2017 C. Parker Gallery began providing mobile gallery services that bring artwork, framing and installation on-site for their clientele.
