The event first took place in 1998. Each May, with the overwhelming support of the Greenwich business community, the Arts Council turns Greenwich Avenue and adjacent streets into a strolling gallery.

According to the Arts Council, the event is one of the largest and most exciting festivals ever organized.

The May 5 opening day features receptions being held from 5:30 – 8:00pm.

Stop by the front lawn of the Greenwich Arts Council on Thursday to listen to live music by 9 of Hearts Band and learn more about the artists and stores participating.

All the art on display is for sale, and a 30% tax deduction for the purchaser benefits GAC.
