Are You Ready to “Experience the Sound” on Sunday?

The Town of Greenwich Shellfish Commission is hosting an afternoon of free family fun on Sunday, June 26 at “Experience the Sound!” at Greenwich Point. This is a really fun event. Even better, no reservations are required. The event is Free.

Board a boat at the yacht club docks (The Soundwaters Schooner, Greenwich Police Boat, and a clam boat). Check out Greenwich Community Sailing (sailing instruction, canoe rental and paddle boarding).

Explore the Bruce Museum Seaside Center, which will have its season opening. Enjoy a free raw bar with Atlantic Clam Farms and Hemlock Oysters. Learn about crew, scuba, fishing and clamming as well as environmental conservation with several community partners.

Art Show
The Friends of Greenwich Point are sponsoring an art show
featuring drawings, paintings, and photographs of the Point. Many of the participating artists contributed work to the book Images of Greenwich Point. The artwork will not be for sale at the show. However, the artists will bring cards with their contact information. The Friends of Greenwich Point will also have a display of before and after photos of their Habitat Restoration Projects!
