Join me in voting FOR Joe Kelly, a leader who consistently delivers for Greenwich.
I had the opportunity to work with Joe during my time on the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting (RTM) and now on the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation (BET). When Joe was the chair of the Greenwich Board of Education (BOE), I served on both the RTM’s Education and Labor Contracts committees and saw firsthand how he leads. What I learned was that he is clear about the objectives/what needs to get done, works collaboratively to deliver them and pragmatic about what can realistically be achieved. Joe builds consensus by listening carefully, bringing people together to get to what best serves our community.
My experience with Joe on the BET has been exactly the same. When something new arises, he is forthright about what he knows and what he needs to learn. And he’ll learn it, thoroughly. He knows how to get things done. Joe is accessible and responsive, he takes your call, and he calls you back. Joe’s community values include fiscal responsibility, collaboration and respect for all voices and opinions.
I have seen how deeply Joe cares about Greenwich. He served as a volunteer fireman, coach, business leader, builder, justice of the peace and elected official on the BOE, RTM and the BET, all while being a devoted husband and father. I honestly don’t know how he manages it all, but Joe does with energy, passion and excellence.
With Joe, what you see is what you get. Joe works hard, he listens and shows up for our community. Joe doesn’t just serve Greenwich, he shows up for Greenwich. He has earned out support. Hartford needs Joe, we need Joe.
Please vote FOR Joe Kelly
