Rosetta “Rose” Galizi, 95, of Mamaroneck, New York, passed away on July 14, 2026.
Born on May 20, 1931, in Bagnara, Italy, to Vincent and Tina Fedele, Rose immigrated to New York with her family at two years old. As a devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to providing the absolute best for her family. She took immense pride in curating a beautiful home in Westchester County, ensuring her children received private education, and preparing exceptional, loving meals as a gifted cook and baker. Alongside her beloved husband, she worked tirelessly to uplift her entire family, including her parents.
One of her proudest achievements was watching her daughter earn an MD degree and establish a successful gastroenterology practice in Westchester. Rose is now reunited in Heaven with her cherished husband, Anthony Galizi. She is survived by her cherished children, Marlene Galizi, MD (Mark Williams), Mark Galizi and Vincent Galizi (Maria) and granddaughter Isabella Galizi.
To honor Rosetta’s life, family and friends will gather on Friday, July 17th from 4:00-8:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 10:00am followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
