Greenwich Police plain clothes offers in Greenwich’s central business district the observed behavior consistent with criminal activity on Saturday, June 27 around 1:30pm.
Officers identified the accused, later identified as Aaron Kareem Findley, 32, of Brooklyn, NY as he entered a nearby getaway vehicle. As officers attempted to stop the vehicle by activating their vehicle overhead emergency lights, the suspect’s vehicle failed failed to stop and engaged officers in pursuit.
Officers ultimately lost visual contact with the fleeing vehicle in the area of I95.
Shortly after, officers were alerted by CT State Police that a vehicle matching the description of the accused’s vehicle had been spotted traveling on I95 northbound on the shoulder with flat tires. The vehicle then crashed into a guardrail, at which time officers were able to apprehend Mr. Findley and a co-conspirator.
Further investigation revealed Mr. Findley conspired with another person to use multiple victims’ credit cards at ATMs via credit cards loaded onto digital wallets to fraudulently withdraw funds from victims bank accounts.
A search of the vehicle revealed numerous cell phones, alleged narcotics and a large amount of US currency.
It was later revealed the accused had a fully extraditable warrant for violation of probation stemming from similar crimes.
He faces the following charges:

Mr. Findley was unable to post his $500,000 bond.
He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 13, 2026.
