After our previous reporting on Greenwich High School’s Unified Sports program, readers said they’d wished they’d known earlier so they could cheer the team on.
Heads up, here’s your opportunity.
The program, under the direction of Deirdre Burke, the Unified Sports Program Coordinator, has grown and blossomed.
The goal of the program is to offer a positive, inclusive foundation for athletic and social interaction between special education and general education students in the school and community.
Come cheer the team on Unified Senior Night on Monday, March 16 at 2:45pm in the Greenwich High School gymnasium.
With so much talent on their team this year, they are splitting in two for the ultimate showdown: Greenwich vs. Greenwich, Cardinals vs. Cardinals, Red vs. White.
The teams will battle it out in a fun, unforgettable game. Let’s pack the stands, bring the energy, and make this Unified Senior Night one to remember.
