Greenwich Police Announce Untimely Death of Officer Robert Pascale

On Thursday Greenwich Police shared the sad news of the untimely death of Officer Robert Pascale, #116, who was born and raised in Stamford.

Officer Pascale attended Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, along with the Smeal College Business Fundamentals Certificate.

Officer Pascale began his career with the Greenwich Police Department on April 18, 2022. He graduated from the New Britain Police Academy’s 19th training session. From his first day, he served the Town of Greenwich with professionalism, integrity, and compassion. Known for his strong work ethic, excellent report writing, and willingness to help others, Officer Pascale earned multiple letters of recognition during his time with the Department.

Officer Pascale was more than a dedicated member of the Greenwich Police Department-he was a kind soul, a loyal teammate, and a true friend to everyone who knew him. He was known for his steady presence, his willingness to help others, and the way he treated everyone-colleagues and community alike-with genuine respect. His passion for service extended beyond the badge, volunteering his time with local charities and staying active in the sports he loved most, football and lacrosse.

Police said Officer Pascale represented the very best of the profession and his kindness, dedication, and spirit will never be forgotten.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00pm-8:00pm on Sunday, November 2, at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT.

A Mass will be held at Church of Saint Cecilia on Monday, November 3, at 10:30 am located at 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT.

The Greenwich Police Department stands with the Pascale family during this difficult time.
