Greenwich Kiwanis Club Presents 2025 Joseph Mitchell Kaye Award to Bethany Fuscaldo

 

Greenwich High School’s Bethany Fuscaldo was presented with the  2025 Joseph Mitchell Kaye Award by the Greenwich Kiwanis Club today at the Havemeyer Building to celebrate being named Greenwich Public Schools’ selection for Connecticut State Department of Education’s 2026 Connecticut Teacher of the Year Program.

Kiwanis President Christine Larson Edwards and representative, Maryann Ferrara Ramos, presented Ms. Fuscaldo with a beautifully framed certificate, an exquisite tapestry with depictions of Greenwich landmarks, and a $500 check.

The award, now in its 43rd year, is named after Mr. Joseph Kaye who served on the Greenwich Board of Education for 10 years.

Fuscaldo has been with Greenwich Public Schools since 2007, as a strings teacher at four elementary schools, the director of orchestras at Central Middle School, and currently the director of orchestras at Greenwich High School.
