Woman Faces Charges after Death of 2 Dogs, Malnutrition and Seizure of Third

Greenwich Police charged a 65-year-old woman from New Jersey with three counts of Animal Cruelty on March 25.

Police said Marie Feniello, of 749 Pequest Road in Oxford, NJ, voluntarily surrendered to police on an outstanding warrant.

The arrest warrant originated from an incident on Nov 22, 2024 on Bedford Road in Greenwich in which Ms Feniello allegedly abused three of her canines, resulting in the death of two of them, and malnutrition and seizure of the third.

She was processed on the three counts of Animal Cruelty and released after a bail bondsman posted a surety bond for 100% of her $50,000 court set bond.

She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 9, 20k25.
