Nathan William Covello, “Nate”, of Greenwich, passed away on August 26, 2024, after complications from a fall.
Nathan was born in Greenwich on November 20, 1953, the son of John Covello and Paula Mednick Chamot. He is survived by his brother, Marshall A. Covello (Valerie) and a nephew, Brendan Michael Covello.
Nathan was a graduate of Greenwich High School and Johnson & Wales.
He was a longtime employee of The Town of Greenwich Board of Education as a Security Guard at Greenwich High School. His interactions with the students will be remembered by all as well as being a fixture at the annual St. Roch’s Feast.
To honor Nathan’s life, family and friends will gather on Wednesday 4:00-8:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 134 Hamilton Ave Greenwich, (203) 869-5968, where a service will take place at 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held Thursday 11:00am at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greenwich.
