Regarding two Letters to the Editor today on two different subjects:
- The decision of the majority of the CMS Building Committee to reject the expert recommended geothermal system which provides the greatest energy efficiency and is also most cost effective. Why??? Saves residents $$$ and is in line with the Town of Greenwich Sustainability goals. (DesChamps: CMSBC Plants Corn, Not Peanuts For Our Community Sept 22, 2023)
Helloooo Town of of Greenwich Sustainability Committee and First Selectman Camillo: where is your influence?
It’s not over ’til it’s over: CMS Building Committee rescind your decision now for the sake of current and future Greenwich residents! Be a leader!
- Regarding the current Greenwich GOP: “Sticks and stones may not break bones” but your votes to oust moderate members of your party will certainly affect Town residents’ libraries, environmental progress, and more. Reminds me of the Rolling Stone’s song: “Under my thumb.” Some current elected officials are. (MacGillivray: In the Face of Name-Calling, We Stand Strong for Greenwich Sept 22, 2023)
Note: No name calling here, just the observation of a resident who will be affected by your policies.
I urge everybody no matter your party affiliation, or not, to register to vote and know the local issues and how your vote will impact your town. Absentee ballots are also available.
Respectfully,
Monica Prihoda
