Greenwich Non-Profit Organization Announces College Essay Workshops

Registration is open for for September College Essay in a Day workshops – both in person and via Zoom - designed to teach students how to approach their Common App Personal Statement and write a first draft of the essay — all in a few hours. College Essay in a Day is geared toward students who are unsure where to start or what to write about and want help figuring out what their story is and how to shape that story into a strong college essay.

Ribbon Cutting at Julian Curtiss School Marks Completion of Phase 3 of Renovation

On Monday local officials gathered to mark the completion of the first three phases of the renovation of Julian Curtiss School, which was erected in 1946. Principal Eduardo Calderón said the renovation preserved the history and character of the building and thanked everyone who played a role, including building committee members, the Board of Education, town officials, superintendent Dr. Toni Jones, district leadership, architects, contractors, staff, families and community members.
