DUI for Greenwich Woman Who Crashed on Ham Ave

On August 2 around 10:30pm Greenwich Police responded to a crash on Hamilton Avenue.

Police say that upon arrival, officers noted that a driver, identified as Rosa Alicia Padilla-Jimenez, 63, of Greenwich, was the sole occupant and driver of the vehicle and had bloodshot glassy eyes and an odor of alcoholic beverages.

She was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard and admitted to drinking wine at her residence earlier in the night.

Padilla-Jimenez was charged with Unsafe Backing, DUI and two counts of Failure to Drive in Proper Lane.

She was able to post the required 10% of her $250 cash bond and was released.

She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 20,2021.
