The Greenwich Boat and Yacht Club Celebrates 83rd Annual Commissioning Day

On Saturday, May 22, the Greenwich Boat & Yacht Club held its 83rd annual commissioning event.

The club was organized in 1938, making it one of the oldest boat clubs in town.

The club was founded to encourage the sports of yachting, sailing, boating, fishing and related activities, to support the art of seamanship and navigation, and to make facilities available for its members in the pursuit of such sport.
