Golf Outing at Tamarack Country Club Will Benefit Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County

As the State Department of Education announces they will not require school districts to provide remote learning this fall and more K-12 students will be in school in-person, Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) is providing an in-person option for younger siblings.

CLC is currently enrolling in all preschool programs for children ages 2.8 until eligible for kindergarten at eight locations in Stamford.

CLC is the second-largest center-based early childhood education nonprofit in Connecticut and continues to play an essential role in providing critical nurturing and education for our community’s young children while also enabling their parents to go back to work.

To provide further support, the CT Office of Early Childhood will pay family fees for School Readiness and Child Development families in July and August.

Additionally, families who qualify for CT Care 4 Kids will receive FREE childcare until November 30, 2021.

CLC needs help to continue serving families in our area. “CLC is proud of its long history of always being there for our families, especially during the incredibly demanding last 18 months,” said CLC Chief Executive Officer Marc E. Jaffe. “We are looking forward to our 5th Annual Golf Outing on September 13, which is one of our signature fundraising events, raising critical funds to support CLC’s extensive ongoing efforts for our community. CLC brings a strong sense of compassion to all of its work.”

All proceeds from the 5th Annual Golf Outing on September 13 will go to support CLC’s students and programs.
