Held at North Mianus School in Riverside, the annual event welcomed families, students, alumni, neighbors, and local supporters from across Greenwich for a weekend that celebrates community connection while supporting North Mianus School.

Pow Wow serves as the North Mianus PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds directly supporting curriculum enrichment, field trips, guest speakers, classroom programming, cultural events, and other experiences that benefit North Mianus students and staff throughout the school year.

“What makes Pow Wow so special is that it’s more than just a school carnival — it’s a true community event,” said Susan D’Inverno Diana, NMS PTA Co-President.

“For generations, families have come together each spring to celebrate, reconnect, and support our school,” added Mandi Drayer, NMS PTA Co-President.

The weekend featured carnival rides and games, student performances, live music, bake sales, raffles, spirit wear, face painting, and a wide variety of food offerings, including Japanese specialties.

The North Mianus PTA also extended a heartfelt thank you to the many local businesses and sponsors whose support helped make the event possible, including:
● DARCARS Lexus of Greenwich
● Angela Swift – The Greenwich Lifestyle Team
● BER Broadbent Electric Refrigeration Air Conditioning
● Air Solutions
● Neri’s Bakery Products Inc.
● Lincoln White Plains – The Premier Collection
● Maruichi Japanese Food & Deli
● Otafuku
● Sun Noodle
● County TV & Appliance
● Stamford Ford
● Olivieri Contracting
● Garden Catering
● Chicken Joe’s

The PTA additionally thanked the hundreds of volunteers, teachers, staff members, alumni families, and community supporters who contributed their time and energy throughout the weekend.

Now in its 78th year, Pow Wow continues to be a cornerstone community tradition in Greenwich and an important source of support for North Mianus School programs and enrichment opportunities.
