SummerFare at Greenwich High School Set for Jan 28, 2026

The Greenwich High School PTA invites all pre-school, elementary, middle school and high school students and their families to attend the SummerFare, featuring an amazing array of summer activities available in our area.

The SummerFare takes place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 6:00-8:00pm at GHS 10 Hillside Road (snow date is Jan. 29). Attendance is free and attendees do not need to register in advance.

According to Robin Leader, the GHS PTA SummerFare coordinator, there are typically about 100 exhibitors showcasing everything from traditional full-day, half-day and overnight / residential camps and programs to sports programs, academic programs, travel programs, arts programs, college summer programs, summer internships, and more. Robin adds, “New this year, we have a list of exhibitors who have student job opportunities – so students can go right to them to talk summer jobs!”

John Fisher, one of the GHS PTA co-Presidents, said “my family first attended the SummerFare when my oldest was in 1 st grade and he found a summer camp he loved. Both of my kids have attended that camp ever since, eventually becoming counsellors, giving them summer employment that they still love.”

Monica Huang, the other GHS PTA co-president added, “the SummerFare has been going for 37 years or more – the origin is a little foggy. The GHS PTA hosts this event for the community – and it’s free to attend! In the past few years, we’ve had as many as 700 to 800 attendees. We welcome everyone from Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, Rye, Port Chester…. The exhibitors provide a ton of support to keep this going and make it interesting and valuable.”

Robin added, “we have dozens of exhibitors who come back year after year, and this year we have more than a dozen “new” exhibitors. We still have space for a few more exhibitors who want to showcase summer programs, camps, internships and job opportunities and connect with public and private elementary, middle, and high school students and their parents.”

Exhibitors can register here, or contact Robin at [email protected].
