Tod’s Point Sailing School is entering its fifth season.
“It seems like only yesterday we were scrambling to build a new sailing program for the residents of Greenwich,” said director Bill King.
In the 2025 season there were over 350 Junior students, 130 Adult students and 32 local high school and returning college students were hired for the summer.
“When we organized Tod’s Point Sailing School in early 2022, we made a decision to organize as an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is typically how community sailing programs are structured across the country,” King explained.
The goal of the organization to make the programs accessible to all members of the community.
“This is where we rely on the support of our local community to help us keep costs low and to provide opportunities to those who need assistance,” he said. Support can be viewed as participation in our various programs and making donations whenever possible.”
All donations to the program are welcome.

The 2026 Junior and Adult Sailing programs have just been released on the Tod’s Point Sailing School website, including several new classes.
In addition to the scheduled classes, the school offers Private Lessons and Rentals of sailboats, kayaks and paddle boards daily throughout the season, Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.
Tod’s Point Sailing School is also hiring qualified individuals to fill various seasonal summer positions in our program. Please visit the seasonal employment opportunities page for details.
