Marie B. D’Elia, who turned 100 in 2021 and is still going strong for her age at 104, was the first member of the Bologna family to graduate from GHS with the class of 1938.
Below, Marie is pictured with her grandniece, Anne, class of 2025, who, at 17 is the youngest Bologna and the latest family member to graduate from GHS, 87 years later.
Anne was a student in Clark House, the same house where Marie worked as the headmaster’s assistant for many years.
Anne will be attending Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a theater major in the fall.
