Greenwich Schools Special Education Chief Mary Forde to Leave in June

Chief Pupil Personnel Services Officer for Greenwich Public Schools Mary Forde has announced that she will be leaving her position effective June 30, 2021.

The Greenwich Public Schools Human Resources Department will be posting for this position in the near future.

Ms. Forde departs GPS after a 24 year career working in service to the students of Greenwich.

Ms. Forde said in a release, “As hard as it is to leave, I know Greenwich is in good hands. Our staff’s creativity and commitment to the ‘power of possibility’ allows students with and without disabilities the benefit of an education in a school system that values every learner. I will remember the team fondly, and will miss working alongside them in partnership with our parents and community. Together, these groups offer invaluable perspective and unyielding energy to the world of education. Working with my colleagues, our district parents, and our community partners has been a true honor.”
