Dr. Paul R. Lowe, with a team of former college directors of admissions, has developed a new program, College Application Rejected, to help students who have applied to colleges and have been waitlisted or rejected.
Dr. Lowe said that the most selective colleges are deluged by more applications than ever, and are inevitably, rejecting a vast majority, including legions of students they once would have accepted.
“Although we have been providing a service like this over the past several years, we have recently branded this as a subspecialty to help these students,” said Dr. Lowe in a statement. “This year, we have been very successful in transitioning students who have been waitlist and rejected to acceptance. We have also helped students reapply and gain acceptance to schools where they had been originally rejected.”
