On Friday, Greenwich Police Lieutenant Patrick Smyth replied to a request for information about a cyclist being hit by a car in Old Greenwich.
Lt Smyth said a youth on a bicycle was struck by a vehicle as he was crossing Sound Beach Ave between the library and the park.
“He sustained a non-life threatening leg injury,” Smyth said.
Smyth added that the vehicle operator remained on scene and was arrested for violations and a warrant out of Stamford. No other details at this time.
