Woman Charged with Stealing Fish in Greenwich Supermarket

On Dec 22 Greenwich Police were dispatched to a supermarket on West Putnam Ave on a report of a larceny that just occurred.

A few blocks away police located a person matching the description of the suspect provided. Police say Dominique Niesha Willis, 34, of Valhalla,NY initially gave a false name, which she later admitted.

On Scene investigation revealed that Willis attempted to steal $199.85 worth of seafood from the supermarket but was stopped by staff at the exit.

Willis was charged with Interfering with Officer/Resisting Arrest and Criminal Attempt Larceny 6. She has a ate in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 24, 2021.

She posted her $1,000 bond and was released.
