Abigail Podlubny, 20, of 853 Whitney Ave in Hamden was arrested on July 8 by Greenwich Police following an incident at Saks on Greenwich Avenue.
At approximately 3:30pm, Greenwich Police responded to Saks at 205 Greenwich Ave on a report of a woman shoplifter being detained.
Upon arrival police met with the the store’s loss prevention team who had detained Podlubny, along with items she had secreted into a shopping bag prior to leaving the store.
Investigation led to the arrest of Podlubny for Larceny in the 3rd degree for thefts of women’s clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as Alice and Olivia located at 335 Greenwich Ave.
Podlubny was able to post her $500 bond and was given a date to appear in Stamford Superior Court on July 22.
