At approximately 1:55 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2016, Greenwich Fire Department units were assigned to respond to a possible fire in a structure at #4 Windsor Ln. in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich.

Firefighters arrived at approximately 2:00 p.m. and encountered a fire in the garage with a heavy smoke condition throughout the single-family raised ranch style home, with bystanders reporting a possible trapped occupant.

The firefighters began an immediate search and were able to locate and remove a female from the first floor of the structure.
