On Oct 2 Greenwich Police were dispatched to the west side of town on a report of two suspects remaining unlawfully outside a victim’s residence.
Officers arrived at the victim’s residence to verify that the home was secure, and while investigating the rear door of the residence being forced open, the suspect returned back to the scene and was identified by the victim as the original person outside the residence before police arrived.
Police charged Tonya French, 44, of Greenwich with Criminal Trespass, 2nd degree.
Her bond was set at $1,000, which she was unable to post. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on October 16, 2024.
Also arrested was Marco Antonio Medina, 49, of Bridgeport.
Police said Mr. Medina was determined to have punched the victim’s driver side passenger rear window as he was reversing out of his driveway, and attempted to forcefully enter the victim’s residence by kicking in the rear door and remain unlawfully.
Further, Mr. Medina had given police a fake name to police.
He was charged with Criminal Trespass 2, Criminal Mischief first degree, Interfering with Officer/Resisting Arrest and Beach of Peace 2nd degree. His bond was set at $250,000, which he was unable to post. He is also due in court on Oct 16, 2024.
