Greenwich Police arrested a local man, Miguel A Valdivia, 19, this week on additional charges stemming back a March 20 trespassing incident at Western Middle School.
On that date the school experienced a lockdown due to the unauthorized visitor entering the building during morning arrivals. At the time of the original arrest for Criminal Trespass, Breach of Peace and Interfering with an Officer was made, police said Mr. Valdivia was a former student.
This week, Greenwich Police said they had obtained an arrest warrant stemming from that investigation for additional charges of Larceny 6 (four counts) and Disorderly Conduct (2 counts).
On Friday, July 26 investigators from GPD appeared at Stamford Superior Court where Mr. Valdivia had a scheduled court appearance.
Mr. Valdivia is in custody at the Manson Youth Institution in Cheshire and was being transported by the Dept of Corrections. When he arrived Valdivia was positively identified and detained by State of CT Marshals who then turned him over to GPD investigative officers. He was arrested, processed and then turned over to State of CT Judicial Marshals for same day arraignment.
