Trespass, Burglary, Larceny Charges for Man who Entered Unlocked Cars at Greenwich Country Club

On Sept 24 Greenwich Police arrested a Maryland man who they say entered unlocked cars at Greenwich Country Club on Doubling Road.

This summer Police warned residents to lock their cars following an increase in daytime larcenies from unlocked cars in parking lots North of Putnam Ave.

“If you are visiting an area, such as a private club, please remember to lock your vehicles and hide any valuables in the trunk,” police said in August. “Detectives are assigned the cases and are developing leads.”

Sean Daniel Johnson, 31, of Beltsville, MD was charged with Larceny 6, Criminal Trespass 3, Burglary 3 (two counts), Criminal Attempt/Burglary (two counts). He was unable to post his $25,000 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 2, 2020.
