Greenwich Tree Conservancy to Host Free Tree Walk at Montgomery Pinetum

Join the Greenwich Tree Conservancy for a tree walk on Sunday, October 4, from 1:00-3:00pm at the Montgomery Pinetum (at 130 Bible Street in Cos Cob), a registered historic site and public park in Greenwich.

The Pinetum is a lush forest of 102 acres featuring wooded trails, majestic trees and a broad variety of unusual specimen plants.

October is a transitional time and we anticipate an orchestrated autumn display of colors in the forest.

Bring your hot beverage and enjoy an invigorating casual walk with Superintendent of Greenwich Parks and Trees and Town Tree Warden Dr. Greg Kramer and Arboretum Curator Lisa Beebe.

Come with your questions for Dr. Kramer who has over 25 years of work
experience in the horticulture industry and holds a doctorate in plant medicine.

Registration required at [email protected]

Sturdy shoes for hiking on the trails are suggested.
