Thief Entered Home in Havemeyer Park While Family Slept

Greenwich Police cars, newDuring the overnight hours of Wednesday, July 27 a thief entered a home on Old Wagon Road through an unlocked window and made off with several portable items while the residents were asleep.

According to Greenwich Police, there was no confrontation between the intruder as the family who were asleep at the time.

According to Lt. Kraig Gray, an arrest would result in at least Larceny and Burglary (a felony) charges.

“It was at a private residence. Someone entered through an unlocked back window while the family was sleeping,” Gray said.”They realized in the morning that someone had entered the house and taken items from the home office.”

Old Wagon Road is located off Palmer Hill Rd, near the Stamford line.
