Teen Caught Going Through Parked Cars in Byram

On Sunday September, at about 1:00 am, Greenwich Police responded to the area of Mill Street and North Water St on a report of a suspicious male looking into parked cars.

An area canvass was conducted and a subject matching the original description was located by officers.

Investigation revealed that Keanu Meza, 18, of 7 South New St in Greenwich was walking home when he saw a parked convertible with its top down. According to Greenwich Police, he then entered the vehicle unlawfully and searched through its contents before leaving. He was placed under arrest for Burglary 3rd degree.

He was assigned a court date on Sept. 28 at Stamford Superior Court and released on a written promise to appear.
