Suspicious Car Parked Spotted Outside Apple Store Leads to Arrest

Greenwich Police were alerted Saturday afternoon around 5:30pm about a possible stolen vehicle parked directly in front of the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue.

Police determined the car was a felony vehicle stemming from an active case of the NYPD.

Investigation later revealed that the accused, Alla Ba, 20, of Bronx, NY was in possession of a stolen credit card and a forged temporary New Jersey registration.

Investigation also determined that Mr. Ba had multiple traffic violations.

The credit card and fake registration were seized as evidence.

Mr. Ba was charged with Failure to Renew Registration, Falsify Marker/License/Registration, Failure to Carry Driver License, Forgery 2 and Forgery 3.

He was able to post the required 7% of his $5,000 bond and was released.

He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 26, 2024.
