Greenwich Police Charge Man Looking for Money in Parked Cars

On the afternoon of Feb 8, Greenwich Police responded to a parking lot at a business on East Putnam Ave where they were told a man was attempting to enter unlocked vehicles.

The man was monitored as he exited the first parking lot and entered a second.

Officers observed the man unsuccessfully attempting to enter two locked vehicles.

According to the arrest report Brewington told police that he was attempting to enter vehicles looking for money.

The suspect, later identified as Nigel Brewington, 24, of Port Chester, was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Attempt Larceny 6.

He was released on a PTA and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 23, 2024.
