Suspect in Organized Retail Theft on Greenwich Ave Surrenders on Warrant

A suspect involved in an organized retail theft incident on Greenwich Avenue back in July 2020 turned himself in to Greenwich Police on Thursday.

According to Greenwich Police Lieutenant Martin O’Reilly, Jahliil M Parrott, 24, of Windsor, CT, was one of three suspects who entered a store and stole between $4,000 to $5,000 worth of merchandise.

One of the other two suspects has also been arrested by warrant. There is an active arrest warrant for the third suspect.

The Greenwich Police ORCA team (Organized Retail Theft Activity) played a large role in identifying and obtaining arrest warrants for all three suspects.

Mr. Parrott was charged with Organized Retail Theft Less than $10,000, Conspiracy to Commit Organized Retail Theft Less than $10,000, Larceny 3, Conspiracy to commit Larceny 3.

Parrott was unable to post his court set bond of $100,000 and was placed in a Greenwich Police Dept cell.

He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 10, 2021.
