Lukeen Bishop Thompson, 22, of 4 Harmon Street in White Plains was arrested on June 15 after Greenwich Police responded to the Westchester County Correctional Facility to extradite him on an active tri-state felony arrest warrant.

He was charged with Robbery 2nd degree, Assault 2nd degree, Laceny 5th degree and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery 2nd degree for an incident stemming back to April 3. On that evening, a 38-year-old male Greenwich resident was assaulted and robbed by three male suspects on Railroad Avenue.

The victim related that he was walking east on Hamilton Ave and observed the three individuals loitering on Hamilton Ave, near Stone Ave.

The suspects followed him to Railroad Ave where they suddenly confronted him striking him in the face, knocking him to the ground, and kicking him while he was down. The suspects stole his cell phone and wallet.

According to Lt. Kraig Gray the victim’s cell phone records helped break the case. Lt Gray added that Greenwich Police have warrants for Mr. Thompson’s three co-conspirators, who are New York residents.

Mr. Thompson’s bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post. He has a court date on June 22.
