Suspect Charged for July Burglary at Mohegan Vape & Cigar

On Tuesday Greenwich Police say a New Haven man turned himself in at the police station on multiple outstanding warrants.

Marcos Scott, now 20, was wanted by GPD for Burglary 3, Criminal Mischief 2 and Larceny 2 for an incident stemming back to July 18 at 4:30am when he and a co-conspirator allegedly burglarized the Mohegan Vape & Cigar at Riverside Commons.

Police say the investigation revealed the victim sustained a monetary loss of approximately $13,700 between stolen and damaged property.

Bond was set at $50,000 which Mr. Scott was unable to post. He is due in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 5, 2024.

In addition there were multiple outstanding counts of Failure to Appear in Court from police departments in Fairfield, Monroe and Newtown that caught up with Mr. Scott, with additional bond totaling over $100,000.
