Residential Burglary Reported in Riverside

At Monday’s press briefing Lt Slusarz said a house on Neil Lane by the Riverside McDonald’s was burglarized.

The residents reported the incident on Oct 28, but were unsure when it took place.

According to the report the residents returned home to find someone entered the house and taken items.

“They came home and found door half way open and a window was shattered,” Slusarz said, adding that an inventory was being taken of missing items.

In another part of town, on Oct 30 a resident reported a larceny from a motor vehicle. The incident took place on Locust Road which is off King Street. Slusarz said the resident reported having left a bag in the car that contained credit cards and gift cards. The bag vanished.
