Queens Woman Charged for Larceny and Identity Theft for 2021 Incident

On April 19 Greenwich Police responded to Rikers Island to take custody of a Corona, NY woman, Laisha Natea Joaquin, 19, who was wanted by felony arrest warrant following a larceny investigation that occurred in June 2021.

According to the Criminal Information Summary the incident took place on Doubling Road.

Joaquin was extradited to Greenwich where she was charged with Larceny 3, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 3, Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Possession of Personal ID Info Device, Personal ID Info Device, Conspiracy to Commit Identity Theft 2 and Identity Theft 2.

Her bond was set by the court at $50,000, which she was unable to post. Joaquin has a date in Stamford Superior Court on May 3, 2022.
