On Friday May 5 around 4:30am multiple Greenwich Police officers responded to a report of a physical fight in Byram between a man and a woman.
Police say the man was determined to be the victim, and the woman, Astrid Y Mejia, 20, of Port Chester, was determined to be the offender and aggressor in the fight.
Police say that on scene investigation determined Ms Mejia caused the victim to sustain minor injuries by biting, scratching and striking his upper torso.
She was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault 3.
She was able to post the required 10% of her court set bond of $600 and was released. She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on May 9, 2022.
