Police Seek Tips after Homeowner Spots Burglar in Her Glenville House

Greenwich Police said there was an attempted burglary Wednesday night in the area of Weaver Street, near Lyon Farm at approximately 8:30pm.

Lt Mark Zuccerella said the homeowner was home and saw the intruder in her house.  She reported that the suspect was a black male in his twenties with short dread style hair, possible dyed red or something like that on the tips.  The suspect was wearing “combat boots” and ripped jeans.

Zuccerella said the suspect had no contact with the homeowner and fled the residence when he saw her.

Officers on scene were unable to locate the intruder. A K-9 Unit from Stamford Police Dept came to assist in locating the suspect, and Detectives responded and assumed the investigation.
