Greenwich Police are looking for the driver of an Audi that took out a phone pole on Brookside Drive behind Greenwich Library on Thursday, Sept 20 around 3:15am.
The incident results in residents losing power.
The driver fled on foot and left the Audi behind.
GPD will investigate and try to identify the driver who will be arrested for the motor vehicle charges.
“You can’t crash into a telephone pole and get away with it,” said Lt Slusarz of Greenwich Police.
The scene was cleared around 9:30am on Thursday.
