Police Respond to Woman Screaming for Help, Man Charged with Assault

On Dec 22 around 10:00pm Greenwich Police responded to a report of a loud altercation in the area of West Elm Street in central Greenwich in which a woman was screaming for help.

Police said the investigation revealed the victim had been assaulted by Kadeem Sadio, 28, of Broad Street in Stamford, and that Mr. Sadio had been involved in a loud argument causing the victim distress and harm.

Sadio was subsequently located by Stamford Police, who took him into custody.

He was charged with Assault 3 and Breach of Peace 2. His bond was set at $2,500, which he was able to post.

He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 24.
