On Friday around 12:30am, Greenwich Police spotted a car speeding and weaving on East Putnam Ave.
According to the criminal information summary, the car was crossing over the lane lines while dragging its front bumper on the ground underneath the vehicle.
When police stopped the car in the area of Nassau place they said the driver, Yaqueline D Mejia-Marreros, 25, of Port Chester, NY, was showing signs of alcohol impairment and was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.
Ms Mejia-Marreros was charged with Traveling Unreasonably Fast, Driving Under the Influence, and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane.
She was able to post her $300 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 21, 2025.
