Greenwich Police arrested a Stamford man in connection to a crash at the intersection of Valley Rd and River Road Ext in Cos Cob back on Dec 20, 2024 around 5:30pm.
Police said Shane Eric Butler, 51, left the scene after striking another vehicle.
Police obtained a warrant for Mr. Butler’s arrest, and on Jan 3, 2025 Mr. Butler surrendered to GPD.
He was charged with Evading Responsibility/Injury/Property Damage and Following Too Close with Accident.
He was released on a promise to appear and has a date in court on Jan 17, 2025.
