Pemberwick Woman Charged with Falsely Reporting Vehicle Stolen

Laura A Krupinski, 50, of 2 Homestead Lane #412 in Greenwich was arrested on Aug 13 by Greenwich Police at about 2:30am after Krupinski reported that her vehicle had been taken by a subject without her permission.

Krupinski related that the subject was a friend of her cousins and that she did not know him well at all. That he was at her residence earlier that day and left without saying anything and once he left she realized that the subject had taken her spare key and her vehicle, a 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

At approximately 5:45am the subject returned to Krupinski’s residence with the vehicle.

Evidence was obtained proving that Krupinski and the subject were in a recent relationship and that Krupinski knew about the subject having the vehicle.

Krupinski was arrested and charged with  Falsely Reporting an Incident and False Report of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
