No Headlights on Sound Beach Ave Leads to Police Stop, DUI

On Feb. 26 at 8:30pm, a car was stopped in the area of Sound Beach Ave and Cherry Lane in Old Greenwich after being observed traveling south without headlights illuminated.

Greenwich Police observed that the driver, Maxine, 56 of 50 Lexington Ave in Manhattan displayed red glassy eyes and the odor associated with the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Kabolowsky was asked to submit to a series of standardized field sobriety tests, which did not perform to standard. She was placed under arrest and charged with Operating Under the Influence and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Headlights. She was issued a court appearance date of March 12 at Stamford Superior Court. Kabolowsky was able to post bond of $250 and was subsequently released from custody.
