On Sept 21 Greenwich Police charged a New York City man with Possession of Child Pornography 1st degree for an incident back in December 2022.

Police said John Constant had an active arrest warrant stemming from a post-arrest investigation into Constant in August alleging his possession of electronic Child Sex Abuse Material.
His bond was set at $100,000 which he was able to post. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 22, 2023.
Lieutenant Latiak said the arrest was the result of an on-going investigation through the department’s Special Victims Section and involved multiple law enforcement agencies.
Last December Mr. Constant was arrested after he came to Greenwich on Dec 12, 2022 and attempted to meet with a person he believed to be a 14-year old girl he befriended in an online chat application.
He was charged with Risk of Injury to a Child, Illegal Sexual Contact of Victim under Age 16, Criminal Attempt/Sexual Assault 2, and Criminal Attempt Enticing a Minor by Computer.
