Multiple Charges for Man Who Fraudulently Purchased iPhone from Apple Store

On March 10 Greenwich Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of 55 Railroad Ave.

According to Greenwich Police, during the stop, a fraudulent credit card was located. Police learned that an occupant of the car, Jose Rosario, 25 of 3840 Featherbed Lane in the Bronx,  had fraudulently purchase an iPhone 6S from the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue by taking over an AT&T customer’s account fraudulently.

Mr. Rosario was charged with Larceny 5th degree, Credit Card Theft, Unlawful completion or reproduction of credit card, Identity Theft 3rd degree and Interfering with an Officer.

He was released after posting $1,000 surety bond and has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on March 18.
