At the Monday police press briefing Lt John Slusarz listed more cars that have been stolen.
A 2014 Lexus GX SUV was stolen from Otter Rock Drive in Belle Haven on Oct 14.
OnOct 18 a Mercedes-Benz was stolen from Ballwood Rd in Old Greenwich. That care was later recovered in another jurisdiction, though Lt Slusarz had no information on the condition of the car.
A Subaru Crosstrek was stolen from Hettiefred Rd on the west side of town off King Street on October 19. The Subaru was recovered on Monday in another jurisdiction. there was no information on the condition of the car.
Greenwich Police remind residents to always lock their cars and bring keys inside. The stolen cars are largely a crime of opportunity and Lt Slusarz has repeatedly said that car thieves are lazy.
